Outdoor Group Run Series with Rhiannon
July 6 - August 26, Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:00pm
This 8-week series meets twice a week. Your coach, Rhiannon, will offer tips on everything from footwear and injury prevention to form and endurance. She will also focus on training techniques; gait improvement and speed Make new friends, reach goals and have fun.
Sign up at the front desk. Members: $80 for series, $15 for drop in;
Nonmembers: $120 for series, $20 for drop in.
Opening the Hips with Jenn Russo

Join Jenn Russo for this two-hour workshop focusing on opening the largest joint in the body, the hips! Sitting in chairs, driving, bike riding and much more are the cause for tight hips and short psoas muscles. We will explore a variety of yoga poses designed to help you develop strength and flexibility for your release!

Qigong with Lori Furbish
August 19-September 9, Wednesdays

This popular 4-week series is back again for a second run. Qigong (pronounced ‘chee gung’) is an ancient Chinese self-healing art that integrates physical postures, gentle rhythmic movements, breathing techniques, self-massage, self-acupressure, therapeutic sounds, and most importantly, focused intention toward healing. The movements are soft, easy, and mindful. The practice is relaxing yet rejuvenating. You may practice in shoes, socks, or bare feet. Wear comfortable clothing that will keep you warm enough to stay relaxed.

Boot Camp is Coming!
Our newest fitness trainer, Jeff Sears, will bring his high energy Boot Camp program to Parkpoint! Boot Camp will incorporate functional strength training, cardio work, warm-up and cool-down exercises all under the supervision and direction of a high-energy certified personal trainer! Classes will be offered mornings and evenings (days and times TBD) and the program will last 4 weeks. Watch for upcoming program information!
