Anya Karapetian
Anya received her training at Alive and Well Institute of Conscious Bodywork in San Anselmo. Her bodywork is a practice of joy, and it is her pleasure to design a massage session that encourages the body to rest, recover from exertion, and revive. Anya’s style is therapeutic, yet relaxing. She will work only as deeply as you and the tissue permit – and always with your comfort and safety forefront. She utilizes techniques from her training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage, Reiki, and Polarity Therapy, along with active spindle-cell releases, helping to release muscle tension. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing backgammon in her spare time. |

Ryan Kintana
Ryan graduated from The School of Shiatsu & Massage in 1999, but his first lessons in acupressure came from his Martial Arts Instructor at the age of 16. To acknowledge their body’s hard work, they would apply acupressure on each other after every class. Their teacher taught them that receiving massage on a weekly basis reduces recovery time, and helps promote a more consistent state of health & well-being. Years later he pursued a career in Massage Therapy, and practices the philosophy that "massage is like yoga and martial arts...a meditation in motion". His goal is to help you maintain a healthy & active lifestyle, by fully addressing your areas of concern. Modalities: Swedish-Esalen, Deep Tissue, and Acupressure. |
