Facility Maintenance and Repair Supervisor for Parkpoint Health Club

Join Parkpoint Health Club’s positive team environment as our Facility Maintenance and Repair Supervisor for the Santa Rosa and Healdsburg facilities. Voted one of the Best Places to Work three years in a row!

This full-time position (35 – 40 hours per week) includes medical and dental benefits, paid vacation and sick leave, and Simple IRA. A complimentary Parkpoint Club membership with employee discounts is included. Some evening and weekend work is required.

The Facility Maintenance and Repair Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance and repairs of the facility, facility grounds, and equipment and includes some facility cleaning as needed. The repairs and scheduled equipment and facility maintenance are to be prioritized with the Club Manager and must be completed in a timely manner. Outside contractors are to be scheduled as needed and the Maintenance and Repair Manager is to oversee repairs.

Equipment and repairs include but are not limited to:

  • Plumbing, electrical including lighting, equipment repair for commercial washer/dryer, refrigerators, freezer, saunas, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, and pool equipment.
  • The repair and maintenance of the fitness equipment including state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment.

Candidates must be experienced and possess a wide variety of repair and maintenance skills. A successful candidate must be responsible, self-motivated, well-organized, able to prioritize, work well unsupervised, and have excellent communication and teamwork skills. A qualified candidate must be a good leader, trustworthy, and role model the Club’s Core Values of Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Community, Health and Well-Being.

Job Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with maintenance and repair
  • Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Trained in basic pool and spa maintenance
  • Ability to work well independently or as a team – take direction and feedback well
  • Must have good computer skills
  • Good customer service skills and the ability to problem solve and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Able to lift at least 60#, walk quickly and be on your feet for 2 or more hours, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, crouch and reach overhead
  • High school diploma or GED
