and contests in the near future!

Pilates Open Studio Now Open!
Those of you who have been training with Pilates Reformer instructors can now practice those exercises in an Open Studio, supervised by Flo Shields. Sessions are $12/hour or 10 for $80. Open Studio will be on Wednesdays from 7-8 am and Fridays from 9-10 am. Schedule your session at the Front Desk.

Masters Swim Adds Training Element with Medicine Ball
Masters swimmers have kicked it up a notch and have added a medicine ball routine to their training. A 10-minute pre-swim set of exercises complements our
training in the pool. We are looking like leaner, meaner swimming machines! Join us for a great workout at 6:30 Mondays and Wednesdays. All levels welcome.

Relay For Life August 1, 2009!
The 2009 Relay For Life will begin on August 1 at 10:00 am and end on August 2 at 10:00 am. Teams will be walking the Sonoma Valley High School track for the entirety of this 24-hour event.

Jim Shafer, Sonoma Parkpoint's new Team Captain is excited about getting you involved in Relay For Life 2009 and has some great incentives to boost participation: “I want this to excite people, inspire them and create a community event. This club’s membership is very involved in the community and so is Parkpoint Club.” In addition to walkers collecting pledges (donations), Jim is planning a massive raffle to raise more money and is looking for a variety of donations. If you have something to donate or a special skill, Jim can turn it into a raffle item.

Look for Relay For Life flyers to be posted around the club. If you have a donation idea and/or want to participate in the walk, contact Jim Shafer at 996-3111.
