MEET OUR HEALTH COACH: LC ARISMAN, CHN (Certified Health Navigator)
Graduate of UC Berkeley, Sonoma State University: Patient Navigator Program
LC specializes in identifying potential barriers to health and fitness and discovering ways to maneuver around them. She has worked at Synergy Multidisciplinary Health Group coordinating care between Chiropractic, Medical, Acupuncture, and Massage Therapy. An internship with the Cancer Survivorship Program at Redwood Regional Medical Group taught her how to make difficult conversations more comfortable.
“Nothing inspires me more than helping people make huge life changes one small step at a time. People incorporate our health and fitness programs into their lives for a variety of reasons and have different motivating factors for wanting to make changes to achieve success. Some of the most common issues we address are lowering blood pressure, losing weight, lowering risk factors for Metabolic Syndrome, increasing strength and balance, and stress reduction. Sometimes clients are surprised at how interrelated various health issues are, so it’s always important to look at their complete picture to determine the best plan of action.” —LC Arisman, Health Navigator
Here’s what a client had to say about the changes she’s made after working with LC:
“LC is awesome! She’s really motivating and realistic about helping me set goals. It’s really interesting to learn exactly how much “excess fat” I have. I can’t keep using the excuse that “muscle weighs more than fat” anymore! There are so many fad diets, I wasn’t sure what I should be eating. LC has my plate looking like 1/2 vegetables, 1/4 lean protein, and 1/4 whole grain. I’ve never felt better!” —Jean
