Zumba for Kids Ages 8-10 with Gina Owens

Zumba for Kids combines Latin music with dance movements to create a festive atmosphere where kids can have fun dancing and exercising, all at the same time.  Kids will learn the basic steps to salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton, hip hop and more!   Classes are based on the same principles as the Adult Zumba classes.  It’s an easy and effective exercise program.  Songs are tailored for children, kids love to move and dance, so Zumba is the perfect workout for them.  Keeps them moving while having lots of fun!
Gina was born and raised in Sonoma and has been dancing for 25 years. She graduated from UCSB with a BA in Sociology. While attending college in Santa Barbara she was the Dance Director at Monte Vista Elementary School. She has taught various styles of dance to children over the years and is excited to teach Zumba Kids!
